DRAFT — to be reviewed by a lawyer before going live. This text was written from what the product actually does, but it has not been checked by a legal professional. The bracketed fields are facts only the publisher can supply.
1. What is collected
Your email address and name as passed by Google at sign-in; the addresses of the sites you ask Frank to read, what it read there and the video clips it filmed; the ads produced for you; your credit history and subscription status as passed by Stripe; the date, text and language of your waiver of the right of withdrawal; and, for the free-reading limit, a SALTED HASH of your IP address — never the address itself.
2. Why
To operate the service you asked for, to bill it, to prove the consent the law requires us to keep, and to stop free reading being used in a loop. No advertising profiling, no resale, no targeted advertising.
3. Processors
Stripe for payment; Google for sign-in; Anthropic for the model calls that read your site and write your ads; Resend for the delivery email; Supabase for the database and files; Vercel for hosting the site; Railway for the service that produces the videos. Each receives only what it needs.
4. Where the data is
The database and files are hosted in the European Union. Some processors, notably Anthropic and Stripe, may process data outside the Union; those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. Retention
Your account, your brands, your films and your ads: for as long as the account exists. The reading-limit hashes: twenty-four hours. Withdrawal waivers and invoices: the periods French law imposes, which is ten years for accounting records.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or erasure of your data, its portability, and object to its processing. Deleting your account erases your brands, your films and your ads. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL. Write to:
